Sedgwick County, which encompasses Wichita and has a population of approximately 500,000, plans to utilize mtx JIS to provide a single solution to be used by various criminal justice agencies in the county. The mtx JIS product will streamline the multiple databases, records and case management systems, as well as other custom built solutions managing city and county criminal information. The resulting solution will efficiently connect disparate data systems; provide a single user interface for searching all databases; automate warrant processing and other criminal justice information exchange processes; and create real-time access and improved accuracy of justice information.
